Andrea Martemus-Peters
Senior Manager, Peer Learning

Andrea Martemus-Peters serves as a senior manager of peer learning for the HAVI. She joined the organization with fourteen years of experience working in hospital systems, including her most recent role as the violence injury prevention coordinator for the Northern Ohio Trauma System. Previously, she worked with hospital trauma team members and social workers to plan, implement, and sustain a hospital-based violence intervention program at the MetroHealth System and University Hospitals. Andrea also served as program manager at the Cleveland Clinic Hospital, where she worked with a multi-disciplinary team of medical professionals to open the Langston Hughes Center-Cleveland Clinic Community Health and Education Center. She also facilitated health and wellness classes to community residents and assisted with community health fairs at the center. Andrea served on the violence prevention subcommittee of the Healthy Cleveland initiative, is a board member of the Partnership for A Safer Cleveland and the Journey Center and has been a mentor for College NOW. Andrea is a licensed social worker in the state of Ohio. She earned her Bachelor of Social Work from Capital University and a Master of Science in Social Administration from Case Western Reserve University.
