The 2023 HAVI Conference—which will take place September 26-28 in Chicago IL—will bring together HAVI member programs, emerging HVIPs, CVI programs, community leaders, public officials, frontline workers, healthcare providers, administrators, researchers, and philanthropists—all committed to interrupting cycles of violence, supporting survivors, healing the roots of trauma, and advancing racial equity.  

We are excited to announce that this year’s theme is Building a Sustainable Future, which will focus on our collective visioning and aspirations for the future of violence prevention and intervention work. Given the significant public investments and increased national attention on this work, we now have an opportunity to leverage the momentum behind our movement to build sustainable structures and partnerships and to continue to strengthen our movement toward racial equity, safety, and justice for our communities.
