Te’ona Godwin
Program Associate, Communities of Practice
Te’ona Godwin serves as the program associate for communities of practice at the HAVI. Prior to joining the HAVI, Te’ona worked as a Clinical Research Coordinator at Massachusetts General Hospital. She assisted on the Johnson and Johnson COVID-19 vaccine trial, as well as, submitting research studies to the Institutional Review Board to assist with the approval of FDA medications. From this experience, Te’ona solidified her passion and drive for assisting individuals within the healthcare system, but also the criminal justice system. The HAVI is an intersection of being the change she desires to see. She believes in the HAVI’s core values as an organization and vision that we can end violence together. She would like to pursue her Juris Doctorate; with the goal of becoming a defense attorney to assist individuals in their community as she will continue to do at the HAVI. Te’ona holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice with a Minor in Sociology from the Illustrious Clark Atlanta University.
